In 1960 Giancarlo Zanatta together with his brother Ambrosiano founded the Calzaturificio Tecnica spa, at the heart of the region that then became the world leader in the manufacturing of sports footwear
After the first great success of MoonBoots (1970), Mr Zanatta focused on strengthening the Company and making it international. He set up branches on all main world markets - USA, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan – and widened the product range by bringing on the market a collection of plastic boots that were rapidly replacing the old leather ones becoming one of the most advanced ski market.
Tecnica diversifies its production launching the outdoor collection gaining an immediate positive reaction in the world market.
