Quality Manager Textile (f/m)

Our expectations

• Min. 5 years of experience in quality assurance/production (min. 2 years in a leading position)
• Extensive experience in the Far East
• Strong technical garment background, knowledge of garment construction and technical specifications
• Experience in developing Chinese vendor / manufacturing relationships
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced management skills & social competence
• Good organization skills
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Based in Far East or Switzerland
  

Your duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing production, capacity and quality & monitoring factory performance
• Tracking production and ensuring that finished products are delivered on-time and meet the established quality standards
• Source, evaluate and approve new factories based on our technical and quality standards
• Train and educate suppliers
• Establish, maintain and expand long term relationships with suppliers
• Clarification and evaluation of claims
• Co-ordinate and improve the internal work flow and procedures between PM, merchandising, QA/QC and technical and administrative functions
• Ability to train and educate QA/QC staff and pattern makers
