INTERSPORT Official Sponsor of the FIS Nordic Ski World Championship 2011 in Oslo

INTERSPORT will be Official Sponsor of the FIS Nordic Ski World Championship taking place in Oslo from 23rd February – 6th March. In addition to the Sponsoring agreement, we will be present with a two Merchandise Shop, one directly at the Holmenkollen and the other in the City Center, selling the Official Licensed Merchandising goods of the event.

 

INTERSPORT – Official Sponsor
In order to further strengthen the brand awareness, INTERSPORT has signed an agreement to be the Official Sponsor of the FIS Nordic Ski World Championship. Our brand will be reflected in various Sponsoring such as on interview walls, advertising in Event Programme, presence on all printed event material, banners, bibs, start installation, award ceremony backdrop. In addition, INTERSPORT will operate two Merchandise Shops. One can be found directly at the Holmenkollen, and the other in the City Center.

 

FIS Nordic Ski World Championship
The FIS Nordic Ski World Championship will take place in Oslo, from 23rd February – 6th March 2011. Oslo, the winter capital, is first and foremost associated with ski jumping at Holmenkollen. But in addition to this, it can offer more than 2 600 kilometres of prepped cross-country tracks, some of which are flood-lit. You will also find several skating rinks, one of which is in the middle of the city centre. In the past few years, new and popular attractions have been added, such as winter walks and winter cruises.

The new Holmenkollen ski jumping hill was completed in February 2010. The first international competitions were held in March 2010. After final work during 2010, the jump will be ready for the World Championships in 2011.
