IIC - INTERSPORT International Corporation (IIC) is pleased to announce that it has signed a license agreement for Lebanon. This agreement exclusively allows ABC s.a.l. to open INTERSPORT stores in Lebanon under their own direction as well as with sub-license partners, sell INTERSPORT’s private label products and have access to all other IIC products and services.
ABC s.a.l, where the majority is privately owned by the Fadel family, was founded in 1936. ABC s.a.l operates its own world class shopping centers, is a master franchisee of international brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Caroll, Kookai or Desigual, and, manages two large department stores in Beirut and Dbayeh, as well as several other stores across Lebanon. ABC s.a.l operates a total retail space of 65‘000 m2, has over 730 employees and realized revenues of 80 million US dollars in 2011. Over 10 million customers visit the ABC s.a.l stores yearly. In addition, ABC s.a.l is the only member from the Middle East in the „International Association of Department Stores“.
