01.01.2006 | After months of preparation and hard work, Turkey opens its first brand new INTERSPORT store in Istanbul.
After the licence was signed in 2005, the six existing Sporting stores of the previous companies will be converted into INTERSPORT stores. Within the year, additional stores will be opening in major Turkish cities such as Istanbul and Ankara. From 2007 onwards, the expansion will be accelerated to reach quickly a country wide INTERSPORT coverage in Turkey and the business plan foresees to reach 35 shops in 2010.
