As soon as the host nation Germany opens the Championship against the Pan-American winner Brazil on the 19th January 2007, INTERSPORT is present on site as the official retailer of the Men’s Handball World Championship 2007, running the official World Championship stores on site.
After the Football World Cup 2006, the Men’s Handball Championship is one of the most important
sports event being hosted in Germany.
A total of 24 nations will compete against each other at 12 different venues, making it the
longest-running World Championship games ever in handball.
