25.07.2007 | Once again, INTERSPORT is proud to be the Official Sponsor of the UEFA Super Cup 2007 in Monaco, where Sevilla FC will try to successfully defend the UEFA Super Cup against AC Milan on 31st August 2007.
The 33rd edition of the Super Cup will be an exciting night of football, as AC Milan tries to
win the Super Cup for the 5th time and FC Sevilla tries to repeat its last year’s victory, where
they beat Barcelona with a score of 3-0.
The host stadium “Stade Louis II” was named after the grandfather of Monaco’s Prince Rainer.
Its marvellous location (right at the Mediterranean coast) and its eye-catching design, makes it to
one of the most impressive stadiums in France.
The competition, which was first introduced in season 1973/74, has been taken place in Stade
Louis II since 1998. Monaco will continue to host the event until 2008 at least.
